Внеклассное мероприятие (итоговый урок) по теме "Places of Interest in London"

Цель: обобщение изученного материала по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона», совершенствование навыков устной речи, актуализация страноведческого материала.

Оборудование: призы для команды-победительницы, сигнальные карточки, компьютер, экран, проектор.

Ход мероприятия.

Участвуют 3  команды по 5-6 человек.

 You know London is a beautiful city. We are here today to clear out what interesting you can find  in this city. (см. презентацию, слайд 1)

1) Узнай достопримечательность по картинке. (За каждый правильный ответ команда получает по 4 балла) (см. презентацию, слайд 2) 

2)На обсуждение каждого вопроса дается 1 минута. Очки получает та команда, которая первой даст правильный ответ. Если ответ был неправильный, у команды соперников есть возможность ответить до истечения 1 минуты обсуждения Вопросы, предлагаемые командам, проверяют не только знание фактического материала, а умение применить эти знания. Вопросы требуют смекалки, быстроты мышления и общей эрудированности.

4. Where is Westminster Abbey situated? (40 points)
5. What is the name of the king who built Westminster Abbey?

1. St. Peter (the legend says).

В завершении игры команда-победительница получает право выступить с речью в течение 1-2 минут. Затем организуется награждение победителя игры.
